Sign Language Programs In Districts

UNITED KINGDOM – BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

As part of the efforts of Christian Society for the Deaf in the district to reach out to Deaf people, a British Sign Language seminar was held. In this activity, the brethren and visitors were taught how to communicate with the Deaf Community effectively through knowing this language and using a variety of signs. The CSD Officers guided the brethren through a seminar that ranged from numbers to the alphabet.

REGION 2 – Brethren from this region joyfully participated in the CSD Camp held in Santiago City

With gratefulness to God and to the Church Administration the Deaf brethren from this part of the Philippines joyfully participated in the CSD Camp held in Santiago City, Isabela. This is part of the celebration for the 10th anniversary of the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) next year. They met other brethren from different districts in their region and made new friends. The brethren promised that they will remain active in all the activities launched by the Church Administration.

RIZAL EAST – Commemorating the anniversaries of Christian Society for the Deaf, KADIWA & Binhi, a special gathering was held throughout the district

Commemorating the anniversaries of three Christian Family Organizations (CFO), namely, the Christian Society for the Deaf, KADIWA and Binhi, a special gathering was held throughout the district. Not remiss in participating with, the Deaf brethren even attested that such occasion inspired them to all the more be diligent in performing their respective duties.

CAMANAVA – Members of Children’s Worship Service (CWS) attended CWS Sign Language Class held at the Local Congregation of North Diversion

United with the aim of the Church Administration to make the youth members active in all the activities of the Church, the member of Children’s Worship Service (CWS) attended the CWS Sign Language Class in the worship building of the Local Congregation of North Diversion. The attendees learned basic signs that they can use to communicate with the Deaf.

CENTRAL – CSD Get-Together Activity held at the Locale Congregation of New Era University

Happiness is in the air! Brethren’s smiling eyes well represent their joyful faces behind face masks as they eagerly participate in fun games during a CSD Get-Together activity, which was held at the compound of the Local Congregation of New Era University. Having felt that sense of belongingness, they are all the more inspired, they said, to continue serving God come what may in their lives.

AURORA – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

AURORA – It was a joyful and educational experience for the young brethren from this district to attend a basic Sign Language seminar. The young brethren learned common signs and were inspired to all the more actively participate in all of the church activities.
