QUEZON NORTH – Children Members Enjoy Learning Basic Sign Language

While instilling in their young hearts and minds the Church Administration’s concern for the Deaf brethren, children members from the Local Congregation of Tignoan enjoy learning basic signs, such as that of the alphabet, numbers, and greetings. Children’s Worship Service officers joined them in learning Sign Language.

REGION V – CSD CAMP FOR THE 10th ANNIVERSARY OF CHRISTIAN SOCEITY FOR THE DEAF

A memorable day for our Deaf brethren in Bicol Region as they celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Christian Society for the Deaf through the CSD Camp held in Legazpi, Albay. Eagerly participating in various interactive booths, they thus had a chance to meet fellow Deaf brethren from other districts, enhancing that sense of belongingness inside the Church Of Christ.

BONGABONG, ORIENTAL MINDORO – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR ​

Members of the KADIWA and Binhi, which are two of the youth organizations in the Church Of Christ, from the San Aquilino Congregation attended the Basic Sign Language seminar led by the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) officers. They learned about basic signs, such as that of the alphabet, numbers, and basic greetings, among others.

MAYNILA – 1st CSD Get-Together for the year 2023

The Christian Society for the Deaf in this district held its 1st Get-together for the year. This fun-filled activity strengthened the bond of the Deaf brethren and increased their sense of belongingness. It also served as an avenue for them to welcome Deaf visitors and the newly-baptized members.

ZAMBALES SOUTH – First Worship Service with Sign Language Interpretation in the Local Congregation of Castillejos

The growing number of Deaf brethren in this district prompted the Christian Society for the Deaf to intensify its effort to cater to their spiritual needs. Thus, the CSD played a special role in the first worship service with Sign Language interpretation in the Local Congregation of Castillejos. The Deaf brethren and their respective families expressed their deep appreciation for this milestone event which inspired them to worship and serve the Lord God with greater zeal.

ILOILO SOUTH – Basic Sign Language Seminar

The passion to communicate with differently-abled persons motivated our brethren to attend the Basic Sign Language Seminar in Leganes Congregation. The activity sparked interest among the attendees to learn and understand better the Sign Language.
