Sign Language Programs In Districts

CAVITE SOUTH – A CSD CARES activity was spearheaded by the members of the Christian Society for the Deaf which was attended by members of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS). They also learned Basic Sign Language and promised that they will continue to cooperate and unite with the Church Administration in various activities of the Church.

AGUSAN DEL NORTE – Parents were thankful as they saw their children learn Sign Language through the Basic Sign Language Tutorial jointly organized by CSD Sign Language Interpreters and by the officers of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS). The attendees were taught how to sign the alphabet, numbers, and basic greetings.

MAYNILA – The sense of belongingness reigned over and among Deaf and hearing brethren from the Local Congregation of Syquia as they enthusiastically participated in the CSD Board Games activity organized by the Christian Society for the Deaf.

These are some of the expressions of our Deaf brethren together with CSD officers as they bonded together with other brethren from the districts in Region 1 and CAR. They also enjoyed the fun-filled activities and interactive booths in the first ever CSD Camp. May this same atmosphere felt during the first of its series be felt in all ecclesiastical districts.

MAYNILA – Held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Tundo, a special gathering with Sign Language Interpretation draws the attention of members of the Christian Society for the Deaf.
Be steadfast amidst trials, honor, and love their parents were among those exhorted them, keeping them inspired and strengthened in faith. New officers took oath in the said gathering.

CAVITE – Inspired to help in propagating the words of our Lord God, Deaf brethren invited guests to the Evangelical Mission held at the Local Congregation of San Antonio. Some of the guests were Deaf persons who decided to further examine the teachings inside the Church Of Christ.

BOHOL – In line with the Church’s intensified works of propagating God’s words, Deaf brethren participated in an evangelical mission hosted by the Local Congregation of Ubujan. Having learned the importance of the true Church toward receiving salvation, many guests enlisted as doctrinal instructees.

Deaf brethren and officers of the Christian Society for the Deaf actively participated in the Evangelical Mission held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Brgy. Village. They invited Deaf visitors who accepted the words of truth taught to them and said to furthermore study the commandments of our Lord God.

Sharing our faith is a commandment of God to all members of the Church Of Christ, thus, the Christian Society for the Deaf in this district ushered guests in attending an Evangelical Mission. One of the guests, expressed interest to learn more about the true religion guaranteed by the Bible to be saved on Judgement day.

In response to the teaching of the Bible, of letting all people know the truth about salvation, the Christian Society for the Deaf in this district led an evangelical mission in the Local Congregation of Almaza. Many of the guests decided to enlist as Bible students afterwards.
