Sign Language Programs In Districts

CENTRAL – SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

KADIWA members from the Local Congregation of Luzon attended a Sign Language seminar. In the seminar they learned the basics of Sign Language, from fingerspelling to basic conversational phrases. By using Sign Language, they are able to communicate with the Deaf more effectively.

BOHOL – SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

As part of this district’s efforts to encourage the Church members to learn Sign Language and its importance in communicating with the Deaf, Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) officers therein led a Sign Language seminar, which has inspired the brethren to learn more and use the skill to share the true faith with others.

CSD CAMP REGION VI & VII

The Deaf brethren, together with the CSD officers expressed their profound happiness and inspiration as they bond together with fellow brethren from other ecclesiastical districts in Region 6 and 7. Everyone enjoyed the fun-filled activity at the CSD booth camp which was filled with joyful atmosphere. The event was held at the Pavia Multi-Purpose Center, Iloilo.

ZAMBALES NORTH – SIGN LANGUAGE TUTORIAL FOR KIDS

That they will learn a new language and eventually be able to communicate with the Deaf are what draw the attention of Children’s Worship Service members in this district to participate in a Sign Language Tutorial for Kids activity.

PALAYAN CITY, NUEVA ECIJA – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

The Christian Society for the Deaf in this district conducted a Basic Sign Language Seminar. This was attended by brethren in the Local Congregation of Antipolo. By learning basic signs and greetings, they will be able to communicate with the Deaf and share their faith with them.
