Sign Language Programs In Districts

KADIWA Organization members actively participated in the Sign Language Seminar at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Lagro. The seminar was successful and the brethren are now more knowledgeable about Sign Language and its importance.

The Children’s Worship Service members had a great time learning basic signs in the Sign Language Tutorial for Kids activity in their district.

In order to educate Church officers on how to properly care for the Dear brethren, a seminar on Basic Sign Language was held in this district.

KADIWA members from the Local Congregation of Luzon attended a Sign Language seminar. In the seminar they learned the basics of Sign Language, from fingerspelling to basic conversational phrases. By using Sign Language, they are able to communicate with the Deaf more effectively.

As part of this district’s efforts to encourage the Church members to learn Sign Language and its importance in communicating with the Deaf, Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) officers therein led a Sign Language seminar, which has inspired the brethren to learn more and use the skill to share the true faith with others.

To teach more brethren about the importance of Sign Language and communication with the Deaf, a Deaf Awareness and Basic Sign Language seminar was conducted in different local congregations in this district.

The Deaf brethren, together with the CSD officers expressed their profound happiness and inspiration as they bond together with fellow brethren from other ecclesiastical districts in Region 6 and 7. Everyone enjoyed the fun-filled activity at the CSD booth camp which was filled with joyful atmosphere. The event was held at the Pavia Multi-Purpose Center, Iloilo.

In keeping with God’s teaching that we must share our faith, officers of Christian Society for the Deaf in this district took part in distributing Pasugo magazines to their teachers, friends, and classmates.

That they will learn a new language and eventually be able to communicate with the Deaf are what draw the attention of Children’s Worship Service members in this district to participate in a Sign Language Tutorial for Kids activity.

The Christian Society for the Deaf in this district conducted a Basic Sign Language Seminar. This was attended by brethren in the Local Congregation of Antipolo. By learning basic signs and greetings, they will be able to communicate with the Deaf and share their faith with them.
