Sign Language Programs In Districts

SARANGGANI – CSD GET-TOGETHER​

SARANGGANI – Unity and interest in learning Sign Language were showcased in the CSD Get-Together activity recently held in this district. This event provided the participants with essential knowledge about Sign Language while enhancing camaraderie between them, thus aiding them towards all the more fulfilling their duties in the Church.

MASBATE – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE TUTORIAL​

MASBATE – Brethren from Local Congregation of Luy-a, Ecclestical District of Masbate, participated in a Basic Sign Language tutorial led by the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) officers. The members were taught fundamental sign language techniques to effectively communicate with the deaf members of their congregation.

PALAWAN – CSD UNITY GAMES​

PALAWAN – The Christian Society for the Deaf organized the CSD Unity Games for differently-abled in the District of Palawan. CSD officers and deaf members engaged in a range of sports activities, including Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, and different Board games. Participants came together from different local congregation to showcase their talents in an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie.

EDMONTON, CANADA – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR​

EDMONTON, CANADA – The Local Congregation of Hamptons held a Basic Sign Language Seminar wherein they were taught some words and terminologies usually used in the Church Of Christ. The CSD Officers helped the members in the Children Worship Service by equipping them with some knowledge that they can use in communicating with those with special needs.

ILOCOS SUR – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

ILOCOS SUR – Brethren from the Local Congregation of Pandan, Ecclesiastical District of Ilocos Sur, actively participated in a Basic Sign Language Seminar led by CSD Officers. This activity aimed to equip the brethren with basic knowledge of Sign Language that can be used in sharing our faith and supporting the welfare of the Deaf Community.

BONGABONG ORIENTAL MINDORO – SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

BONGABONG ORIENTAL MINDORO – “It was fun and interactive!”, that was the reaction of the Church Officers who attended the Sign Language Seminar which was conducted in the Local of Papandayan. Such activity was truly helpful to them in acquiring new knowledge about Sign Language to be able to communicate with the deaf community.
