Sign Language Programs In Districts

Binhi members in this district actively participated in a Basic Sign Language Seminar wherein they learned some signs. They were also taught the importance of Sign Language.

Driven by their love and care for the Deaf, the KADIWA members of this district actively participated in a Basic Sign Language seminar which in effect enhanced their communication skills.

Led by officers of the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD), Deaf brethren enjoy participating during their CSD Monthly Get-Together. Once more, their faith and bond were strengthened.

“It’s an achievement unlocked!” This was the reaction of the Binhi members as they learned basic signs during the Basic Sign Language seminar which they attended in this district. They are happy to have gained new language skill that they can use in conversing with the Deaf.

In this district, Binhi members participated in a Basic Sign Language seminar led by the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD). Through this seminar they learned basic signs that they can use in communicating with the Deaf.

Understanding the importance of Sign Language in communicating with the Deaf, brethren from various local congregations actively participated in a Sign Language seminar that was held via video streaming.

Led by the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers, many brethren from every local congregation in this district actively participated in the Basic Sign Language Tutorial Seminars held at respective houses of worship. Upon learning the basic signs, attendees said that they were anticipating to communicate with the Deaf community.

Brethren in this district learned some signs during a fun and interactive Sign Language seminar led by the Christian Society for the Deaf. By attending seminars like these, they learn how to communicate with Deaf people.

The Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) in this district held an activity, “Growing up CODA (Children of Deaf Adults) podcast viewing”, in the local congregation of Vallejo. The brethren learned how two brothers with Deaf parents shaped their faith through these unique experiences of growing up,

The differently abled guests who attended the Evangelical Mission and Care For Humanity in this district felt how they were cared for and loved. Most of all, the teachings of the Bible they received through sign language all the more inspired and enlightened them.
