Sign Language Programs In Districts

RIZAL EAST – It is God’s commandment to share our faith to all people including the Deaf. Keeping this in mind, brethren in the Local Congregation of Subay actively participated in a Sign Language seminar where they learned basic Sign Language such as greetings, church terms and numbers.

CENTRAL – To show their love for Deaf people and to further understand their language and culture, brethren from the Local Congregation of Pasong Tamo actively participated in a Basic Sign Language and Deaf Awareness seminar.

CAVITE – As a proof of their love and concern for the Deaf, brethren in this district have actively taken part in Basic Sign Language and Deaf Awareness seminars.

ZAMBALES NORTH – Led by Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers, children members enjoy learning the basic signs during a Sign Language seminar.

SOUTHEASTERN AFRICA – A Basic Sign Language seminar held in Area 56 GWS provided the brethren additional skills in communicating with the Deaf community in this part of the world. This will greatly help them in sharing the true faith. Brother Gerson Dela Peña, resident minister, led the activity.

QUEZON NORTH – The eagerness to learn Sign Language was clearly evident among the brethren who attended the Basic Sign Language seminar held in this district.

BATAAN – In cooperation with the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD), the KADIWA officers in this district conducted a Basic Sign Language Seminar, which enabled the KADIWA members learn Sign Language.

CALOOCAN NORTH – A Deaf Awareness Seminar held in this district provided the brethren basic skills in Sign Language, which will help them communicate with deaf people and spread God’s words.

BULACAN NORTH – In celebration of the Christian Society for the Deaf’s (CSD) 10th anniversary, this district held an evangelical mission and CSD Get-Together activities, which enabled them to not only share but also be strengthened in the faith.

BATAC CITY, ILOCOS NORTE – Brethren from this district demonstrate the basic signs they learned during their Sign Language seminar and quiz bee.
