BULACAN SOUTH—The first worship service with Sign Language Interpretation in this district was held in the Local Congregation of Catmon. Brethren, especially the members of the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) are truly grateful for this great blessing.
Determined to care for the Deaf brethren, Church members from this district attend Sign Language seminars. During these activities the Deaf brethren are seen among the attendees, enabling them to personally feel their fellow brethren’s, especially the Church Administration’s, care and concern for them.
METRO MANILA EAST – To show their love for the Deaf, brethren from this district conducted a Sign Language seminar in which they understood the importance of Sign Language and also learned basic signs they could use to communicate.
DAVAO DEL NORTE – The brethren in this district continue to attend Basic Sign Language seminars to further enhance their skills for them to communicate and interact better with our Deaf fellowmen. .
CAVITE – Through the Deaf Awareness and Basic Sign Language Seminar, many brethren in the Local Congregation of Julugan have become aware of the importance of caring more for the Deaf community. The brethren also have developed better communication skills with the Deaf people.
RIZAL EAST – In keeping with God’s command to share our faith, brethren from the Local Congregation of Quisao showed their eagerness to learn Basic Sign Language. It is their hope that through this, they can help bring the path towards salvation known even to our Deaf fellowmen.
CAVITE SOUTH – Members from the Local Congregation of Luzviminda were delighted to take part in the Basic Sign Language Tutorial and Deaf Awareness Seminar spearheaded by the Christian Society for the Deaf and they promised to continue on in uniting with the Church Administration in the church’s upcoming activities.
BULACAN – Binhi members from this district see the importance of the Sign Language Seminar they attended, that is, the way to communicate with Deaf brothers and sisters in the faith and thus be of help to the Church Administration in caring for the differently abled.
BATAC CITY, ILOCOS NORTE – The recently held Sign Language seminar in this district enabled the SCAN members to recognize the importance of communicating through the use of Sign Language in life saving and rescue operations.
