DAVAO DEL NORTE – Basic Sign Language Seminar

Aspiring to learn Sign Language, officers of the KADIWA and Binhi organizations attended the Basic Sign Language Seminar. Brother Aron Namoro, who is the Christian Society for the Deaf district president, and the event’s keynote speaker, spoke on how the attendees could be of help in looking after the Deaf brethren.

CAPIZ – Basic Sign Language Seminar

In line with the Church Administration’s continuous effort to help our Deaf brethren, Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) officers in this district spearheaded at the Local Congregation of Tandang Sora a Basic Sign Language Seminar, which aimed at training brethren on how to effectively communicate with the Deaf.

MAYNILA – District-wide Evangelical Mission

In response to the intensified propagation work of the whole Church, a district-wide evangelical mission was held. Led by the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) officers and Sign Language interpreters, CSD members from various local congregations actively participated. Some Deaf visitors decided to examine further the Church’s teachings. They, with other guests, received care packages from the Church Administration.

CAMARINES NORTE – Lingap Pamamahayag for the Differently Abled Persons (DAP)

An Lingap Pamamahayag for the Differently Abled Persons (DAP) was held at the Centennial Wharf, Daet, Camarines Norte. The event was attended by more than 5,000 DAPs, 252 of whom are Deaf. The attendees appreciate how the Church give importance and cater to them. Many visitors made the decision to carry on their quest for the truth.

CAMARINES NORTE – Differently Abled Awareness Seminar

With the aim of helping the Church Administration to cater to the needs of persons with special needs, the district held a Differently Abled Awareness Seminar. Led by Brother Alexander Castillo, minister of the gospel, the attendees learned the right way of communicating with the Deaf, which is knowing and using the basic signs, and thus honing their Sign Language skills.

ILOILO SOUTH – CSD GET-TOGETHER

Happiness filled the air as the Deaf brethren from this district gathered in the monthly CSD Get-Together. They were able to bond with each other and most importantly, were strengthened in their faith. The attendees also received care packages from the Church Administration.
