Sign Language Programs In Districts

CABANATUAN CITY, NUEVA ECIJA – A seminar on Deaf Awareness and Basic Sign Language was successfully conducted at the Local Congregation of San Fabian, led by CSD officers, fostering effective communication and understanding between attendees and the Deaf community.

CABANATUAN CITY, NUEVA ECIJA – A monthly gathering for members of the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) was held in the District of Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. The event was filled with joy and camaraderie among the Deaf brethren and CSD officers.

RIZAL – The Christian Society for the Deaf in the District of Rizal recently held a get-together at Embrace Café’s Central Avenue branch. The CSD officers and the Deaf brethren from Rizal not only enjoyed the café’s delicious menu but also create camaraderie among the Deaf employees working there.

BONGABONG, ORIENTAL MINDORO – In an effort to enhance awareness and understanding of Sign Language among its members, this district organized Sign Language Seminar at the Local Congregation of Alcadesma.

ILOCOS SUR – The Local Congregation of Mabilbila joyfully hosted a Sign Language Seminar for SCAN International members, empowering them with essential knowledge of common signs and words used in the Church to enhance communication to our Deaf brethren and to support them in keeping the faith aflame.

RIZAL EAST – A Fingerprints Arts activity held by the Christian Society for the Deaf in Rizal East highlighted the participants’ artistic talents as they created vibrant and colorful designs using their fingerprints.

ROSALES, PANGASINAN – The Ecclesiastical District of Rosales, Pangasinan held a Sign Language tutorial to teach the brethren basic signs for common terminologies of the Church, as well as Sign Language techniques, which are both essential in taking care of their brethren with special needs.

The seminar aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge of basic signs, enabling effective communication and strengthening the faith of individuals with special needs, while also encouraging them to share their faith with others.

TERESA, RIZAL EAST – To promote awareness on Sign Language, the CSD officers from the District of Rizal East organized a Sign Language Seminar held at the worship building of the Local Congregation of Teresa.

METRO MANILA EAST – The brethren in Metro Manila East were inspired to deepen their understanding of Deaf culture and Sign Language by participating in a district Sign Language seminar.
