Sign Language Programs In Districts

LEYTE WEST – FIRST WORSHIP SERVICE WITH SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION

God’s love and care are continuously felt by the Deaf brethren of the Local Congregation of Ormoc City through the Church Administration. A proof of this is the first worship service with Sign Language interpretation they attended at their house of worship. This experience all the more edified their faith.

QUEZON CITY – SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY

Sign Language Interpreters from this district actively participated in a development activity held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Local Congregation of Capitol. It was led by Brother Ian Casamayor, a minister of the gospel. They learned how to communicate using Sign Language and how it can be used to help our Deaf brothers and sisters.

NEW JERSEY – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

A Sign Language seminar was recently organized by the Christian Society for the Deaf in this district. Through this seminar, the brethren will be able to communicate effectively with the Deaf community. The brethren in the District of New Jersey are continuing to find more ways to share their faith to all people.

CAVITE – DEAF AWARENESS SEMINARS

Promoting awareness of Deaf culture greatly helps in showing genuine empathy for the Deaf community. That was highlighted during one of the Deaf Awareness seminars that brethren from this district attended.

CENTRAL – SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

A Sign Language seminar was conducted in the house of worship of Local Congregation of Bonifacio Drive for the Church officers in the district. As a result of this seminar, they learned effective methods of communicating with Deaf individuals.

SORSOGON – CLEAN-UP DRIVE

To promote environmental cleanliness, Christian Society for the Deaf officers from this district lead fellow brethren in holding a clean-up drive.

BULACAN NORTH – COOKING CHALLENGE

BULACAN NORTH – COOKING CHALLENGE BULACAN NORTH – Deaf members, led by Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) officers, showcase their culinary skills during a CSD Cooking Challenge, thereby strengthening bond with each other.
