QUEZON CITY – Brethren from the Local Congregation of Manggahan, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City excitedly gathered together and attended the Basic Sign Language seminar. The brethren actively participated in learning how to sign and communicate with Deaf brethren.
CENTRAL – As part of the efforts to spread awareness and understanding of Deaf persons, a Deaf Awareness and Basic Sign Language Seminar was held at the Local Congregation of Veterans Village 1.
METRO MANILA EAST – The Deaf brethren from the Local Congregation of Parang are thankful to God for the Church Administration has approved their first worship service with Sign Language interpretation at their house of worship.
BULACAN – The Deaf brethren from the Local Congregation of San Rafael continuously feel God’s love and care through the Church Administration. As a proof, they attended at their house of worship their first worship service with Sign Language interpretation together with doctrinal instructees and guests. Having understood God’s will upheld in the Church Of Christ, guests expressed interest to be among its members.
CALOOCAN NORTH—The first Worship Service with Sign Language interpretation at the Local Congregation of Maligaya was truly a wonderful experience and a great blessing for the members of the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD).
NAGA CITY, CAMARINES SUR – The Deaf brethren and CSD officers in this district had a meaningful and experience when they held a CSD Get-together wherein they formed stronger bonds, strengthened their faith, and fostered camaraderie with new friends.
RIZAL EAST – In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Christian Society for the Deaf, this district conducted Sign Language seminars in different local congregations. The attendees hoped to spread the gospel to more of our Deaf fellowmen.
QUEZON CITY – In an effort to improve their signing skills, Christian Society for the Deaf officers took part in a Sign Language Interpreter Development activity.
QUEZON CITY – A Deaf Awareness seminar led by Brother Reymund Del Mundo, a Minister of the Gospel, was held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Novaliches. By participating in seminars such as these, members of the Church Of Christ become more aware of Deaf culture. Those who attended this activity were very thankful to the Church Administration for holding this event.
