With the guidance of Almighty God, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ, launched the 2023 theme: “We Need to Believe in, Trust in, and Rely on What God Can Do For Us.” This theme has assisted brethren worldwide in facing various life situations.
ALASKA – Through informative and engaging seminars, the Christian Society for the Deaf in this district raises awareness of Deaf culture while equipping brethren with the knowledge of Basic Sign Language.
GREAT BRITAIN – The CWS members in this district gathered online to conduct a Sign With Me Activity. The participants had an engaging experience as they learned Sign Language and practiced signing different colors while enjoying the coloring activity.
CAMANAVA – Capturing the joyous moments during the Year-end Socializing of the Christian Society for the Deaf, where various CSD activities brought happiness to the Deaf brethren
CENTRAL – The CSD Get-Together activity in this district has been instrumental in strengthening the faith of and bond among our Deaf brethren and CSD officers. They even made new friends.
CEBU CITY—A Deaf Awareness Seminar was held in this district and attended by members of the Local Congregation of Tisa. Brother Christian Jay Gil, CSD Adviser of Cebu City, Cebu who led the activity explained that the seminar aimed to educate the participants on the culture and language of the Deaf, as well as to provide them with the skills to effectively interact with Deaf people.
To have a father who is trustworthy, diligent in his duty, and a policeman inspired Kenneth’s dream to become one too. However, an event occurred that changed his father’s relationship with him, testing Kenneth’s dream.
RIZAL EAST—Church officers from the Local Congregation of Binangonan actively attended in the Basic Sign Language Seminar. Their love for our Deaf fellowmen motivated them to respond to the call of the Church Administration to acquire knowledge in communicating using sign language.
METRO MANILA EAST – Brethren in this district conducted a Deaf Awareness and Basic Sign Language Seminar where they learned basic signs like alphabets and greetings. The participants promised to use this knowledge in propagating the words of God to Deaf people.
QUEZON CITY — It is truly such an amazing experience to start the month of December for the Deaf brethren to get together with their family, friends, and CSD Sign Language Interpreters. This meaningful event gave them opportunity to strengthen their bond while they shared happy moments visiting many attractions such as The Garden in Ciudad de Victoria, Bocaue, Bulacan.
