Its aim is to raise awareness in children by presenting Sign Language in a fun and enjoyable manner. ZAMBOANGA CITY – Brethren from the Local Congregation of Guiwan actively participated in a Basic Sign Language Seminar. Taught how to sign basic words and the rules of signing, they were thankful for the skills they learned which are useful in communicating with the Deaf.

MAYNILA – Members of the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) from various local congregations of this district benefited from the “Buklod Livelihood Seminar” held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Tundo. The Deaf brethren learned how to make dishwashing liquid, which they could use either to make a living or just for personal purposes.
