QUEZON CITY – Worship Service with Sign Language

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) continuously reap successes in all its many endeavors, one of which is adding new officers. Seen in these photos are some of the district’s Lay Sign Language interpreters (in dark gray uniform) with ministers, ministerial workers, and the Deaf members they lead in signing hymns of praises to God, and Christ during worship services.

NEW JERSEY – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

A Basic Sign Language Seminar conducted in this district provided the brethren not only the skills for communicating with the Deaf community, but also a means of sharing their faith with the Deaf individuals. These skills will help them to strive further the intensive work of propagation inside the church. Brother Alex M. Reyes, District Minister led the brethren in this district in finding more ways to share their faith.

CSD CAMP REGION VII AND VIII

It is a great pleasure for Deaf brethren to be able to participate in the CSD Camp in Leyte West. They are thankful to the Church Administration for this wonderful opportunity. The event is part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Christian Society for the Deaf. Our Deaf brethren met and made new friends with other brethren from different districts in their region.

CENTRAL – SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

Church officers from this district attended and actively participated in the Sign Language Seminar led by Brother Alex Castillo from the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD). They learned basic signs to use in everyday conversation and in worship services. This activity was held in line with the Church Administration’s goal to equip more members the ability to effectively communicate with Deaf individuals.

PANIQUI, TARLAC – BASIC SIGN LANGUAGE SEMINAR

In this district, the Christian Society for the Deaf held a Basic Sign Language Seminar. Through this activity, the brethren from this district were introduced to proper communication with the Deaf, and were even inspired to learn more.
