When 23-year-old Cathlene Quizon was in high school, she was determined to become valedictorian—a dream brought about by her upbringing and loving parents. And so she put in the time and kept working at it. But in the middle of her sophomore year, Cathlene was hit by an unexpected test that would change her life forever.
